Brazil’s packaging industry registered a 3.1% rise in IT hiring activity in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 2.89% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.51% share in November 2021, recording an increase of 0.21% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Brazil’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 106.52% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Brazil’s packaging industry in November 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 47.83% in November 2021, registering a 57.14% growth over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 26.09% share, a decrease of 42.86% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 15.22%, registering a 12.5% decline from October 2021.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 13.04%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in Brazil’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 9.68% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Brazil’s packaging industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
BRF posted 16 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a drop of 33.33% over the previous month, followed by Alpargatas with 6 jobs and a 50% growth. Kimberly-Clark with 6 IT jobs and Whirlpool with 3 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 200% growth, respectively, while Ball recorded an increase of 50% with 3 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.91%, down by 8.11% from October 2021. Entry Level positions with a 15.22% share, registered a decline of 12.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 10.87% share, flat growth over October 2021.
