Brazil’s packaging industry registered an 8.3% rise in IT hiring activity in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.2% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.43% share in October 2021, recording an increase of 0.35% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Brazil’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 102.27% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Brazil’s packaging industry in October 2021.
1) Computer and Information Analysts recorded a share of 43.18% in October 2021, registering a 72.73% growth over the previous month.
2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 29.55% share, a decrease of 31.58% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 13.64%, registering a 20% rise from September 2021.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 11.36%, down 16.67% over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in Brazil’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 43.48% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Brazil’s packaging industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
BRF posted 18 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a rise of 12.5% over the previous month, followed by JBS with 7 jobs and a 250% growth. Alpargatas with 4 IT jobs and Unilever with 2 jobs, recorded a 300% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Anheuser-Busch InBev recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.73%, up by 14.29% from September 2021. Entry Level positions with a 15.91% share, registered a decline of 30% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 11.36% share, up 66.67% over September 2021.
