The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 433.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s packaging industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
Domtar posted 4 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a rise of 300% over the previous month, followed by Richardson International with 3 jobs and a flat growth. McCain Foods with 3 IT jobs and Domtar with 3 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 200% growth, respectively, while Lien Hwa Industrial recorded an increase of 200% with 3 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.53%, up by 8.7% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 20.59% share, registered an increase of 75% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Senior job ads with 2.94% share, flat growth over September 2021, while Entry Level postings accounted for 2.94%, recording a month-on-month decline of 66.67%.
