China’s packaging industry registered a 7.6% drop in IT hiring activity in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 7.67% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.44% share in September 2021, recording an increase of 0.45% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in China’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s packaging industry in September 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 69.44% in September 2021, registering an 8.7% flat growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 16.67% share, a decrease of 14.29% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8.33%, registering a 70% decline from August 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 2.78%, down 75% over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in China’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 216.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s packaging industry during September 2021 over August 2021.
Anheuser-Busch InBev posted 6 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by By-health with 5 jobs and a flat growth. Shanghai Jahwa United with 4 IT jobs and The Coca-Cola with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 50% decrease, respectively, while Bunge recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during September 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.67%, down by 31.43% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 25% share, registered an increase of 28.57% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.33% share, up 50% over August 2021.
