June 2022 has seen a decrease of 10.04% in the overall hiring activity when compared with May 2022.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in June 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 40.03% in June 2022, a 22.36% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 22.9% in June 2022, marking a 34.08% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 17.29% in June 2022, an 18.98% drop from May 2022.

Top five packaging companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 1.66% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s packaging industry during June 2022 over previous month.
Fujitsu General posted 75 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a decline of 16.67% over the previous month, followed by Cherkizovo Group with 30 jobs and a 21.05% drop. The Swatch Group with 30 IT jobs and On with 25 jobs, recorded a 30.43% rise and a flat growth, respectively, while Amcor recorded a 20% decline with 24 job postings during June 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s packaging industry
The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s packaging industry IT hiring activity with a 22.27% share in June 2022, a 28.86% decrease over May 2022. Germany featured next with an 11.84% share, down 40.63% over the previous month. France recorded a 9.97% share, a drop of 31.18% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.61%, down by 21.86% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 14.33% share, registered a decline of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 10.28% share, down 49.62% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.78%, recording a month-on-month growth of 400%.
