Germany’s packaging industry registered a 14.8% drop in IT hiring activity in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 11.3% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.27% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s packaging industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 49.21% in November 2022, registering a 13.89% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 25.4% share, a decrease of 23.81% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 15.87%, registering a 9.09% decline from October 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 9.52%, down 70% over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 22.73% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s packaging industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Ferrero International posted 11 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 37.5% over the previous month, followed by maxingvest with 9 jobs and a 50% growth. Nestle with 5 IT jobs and HelloFresh with 5 jobs, recorded a 25% growth and a 54.55% decrease, respectively, while Essity recorded a decline of 73.33% with 4 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.43%, down by 21.05% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20.63% share, registered a decline of 31.58% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.94% share, down 61.54% over October 2022.
