The industry’s overall hiring increased by 29.74% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 9.68% share in November 2021, recording a decrease of 4.29% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 48.95% in November 2021, registering a 5.68% growth over the previous month.

2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 20% share, an increase of 46.15% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 13.16%, registering an 8.7% rise from October 2021.

4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 13.16%, up 13.64% over the previous month.

Top five packaging companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 33.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s packaging industry during November 2021 over October 2021.

Panasonic posted 58 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a drop of 9.38% over the previous month, followed by Unilever with 25 jobs and a 316.67% growth. Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. with 20 IT jobs and Zebra with 9 jobs, recorded a 66.67% growth and an 80% growth, respectively, while Kimberly-Clark recorded an increase of 166.67% with 8 job postings during November 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 50%, up by 53.23% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 37.37% share, registered a decline of 14.46% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.11% share, up 35.29% over October 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.53%, recording a month-on-month decline of 66.67%.
