Mexico’s packaging industry registered a 3.4% rise in IT hiring activity in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 9.97% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.25% share in June 2022, recording an increase of 0.45% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Mexico’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s packaging industry in June 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 35.44% in June 2022, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 29.11% share, an increase of 9.52% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 21.52%, registering a 41.67% rise from May 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 11.39%, down 18.18% over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in Mexico’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 15% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s packaging industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Fomento Economico Mexicano SAB de CV posted 19 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Panasonic with 12 jobs and a 9.09% growth. Amcor with 7 IT jobs and The Coca-Cola with 4 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 42.86% decrease, respectively, while Diageo recorded an increase of 33.33% with 4 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.48%, up by 6.9% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 17.72% share, registered an increase of 55.56% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 3.8% share, down 50% over May 2022.
