Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations leads by classification in June 2022
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Middle East & Africa with a share of 42.86% in June 2022, a 50% rise over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 23.81% in June 2022, marking a 37.5% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 19.05% in June 2022, a 50% drop from May 2022.

Compagnie Financiere Richemont posted 4 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered an increase of 100% over the previous month, followed by Edita Food Industries with 4 jobs and a flat growth. Nampak with 2 IT jobs and The Body Shop International with 2 jobs, recorded a 100% rise and a flat growth, respectively, while Tiger Brands recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during June 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Middle East & Africa’s packaging industry
South Africa commanded a leading presence in the region’s packaging industry IT hiring activity with a 33.33% share in June 2022, a 41.67% decrease over May 2022. Egypt featured next with a 19.05% share, down 20% over the previous month. United Arab Emirates recorded a 19.05% share, a growth of 300% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 90.48%, down by 26.92% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 9.52% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
