Poland’s packaging industry registered an 11.2% drop in IT hiring activity in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 3.9% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.03% share in October 2022, recording a decrease of 0.12% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s packaging industry in October 2022.

1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 36.73% in October 2022, registering a 10% decline over the previous month.

2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 28.57% share, a decrease of 17.65% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 16.33%, registering a flat growth from September 2022.

4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 14.29%, down 58.82% over the previous month.

Top five packaging companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 19.23% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s packaging industry during October 2022 over September 2022.

Carlsberg posted 9 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a drop of 18.18% over the previous month, followed by Procter & Gamble with 8 jobs and a 166.67% growth. Reckitt Benckiser Group with 6 IT jobs and PepsiCo with 4 jobs, recorded a 33.33% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Ardagh Group recorded an increase of 33.33% with 4 job postings during October 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 81.63%, down by 16.67% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 10.2% share, registered a decline of 28.57% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.16% share, down 50% over September 2022.
