Poland’s packaging industry registered a 2.1% rise in IT hiring activity in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 6.05% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.

Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.76% share in September 2022, recording an increase of 0.93% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s packaging industry in September 2022.

1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 30.65% in September 2022, registering a 5% decline over the previous month.

2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 27.42% share, a decrease of 5.56% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 25.81%, registering a 6.67% rise from August 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 12.9%, up 100% over the previous month.

Top five packaging companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 34.48% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s packaging industry during September 2022 over August 2022.

Amcor posted 11 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a rise of 57.14% over the previous month, followed by Carlsberg with 11 jobs and an 83.33% growth. Reckitt Benckiser Group with 9 IT jobs and Whirlpool with 5 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Philip Morris International recorded a decline of 57.14% with 3 job postings during September 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.81%, up by 17.5% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.9% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.29% share, down 22.22% over August 2022.
