Spain’s packaging industry registered a 19.8% rise in IT hiring activity in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 16.85% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 10.72% share in February 2022, recording a decrease of 1.06% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Spain’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.41% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s packaging industry in February 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 63.49% in February 2022, registering a 166.67% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 17.46% share, a decrease of 35.29% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 11.11%, registering a 22.22% decline from January 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 4.76%, up 200% over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in Spain’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 57.14% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s packaging industry during February 2022 over January 2022.
Panasonic posted 19 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a rise of 375% over the previous month, followed by Fujitsu General with 13 jobs and an 18.75% drop. Nestle with 10 IT jobs and The Swatch Group with 10 jobs, recorded a 100% growth and a 100% growth, respectively, while PepsiCo recorded a decline of 40% with 3 job postings during February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 79.37%, up by 66.67% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.7% share, registered a decline of 11.11% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.94% share, flat growth over January 2022.
