Switzerland’s packaging industry registered a flat growth in IT hiring activity in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 3.31% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.59% share in June 2022, recording an increase of 0.73% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Switzerland’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Switzerland’s packaging industry in June 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 53.33% in June 2022, registering a 68.42% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 20% share, a decrease of 7.69% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 13.33%, registering a 14.29% rise from May 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 8.33%, down 44.44% over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in Switzerland’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 103.7% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Switzerland’s packaging industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
The Swatch Group posted 21 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a rise of 75% over the previous month, followed by On with 13 jobs and a flat growth. Amcor with 12 IT jobs and Compagnie Financiere Richemont with 5 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 66.67% growth, respectively, while On recorded a flat growth with 4 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 81.67%, up by 13.95% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with an 8.33% share, registered a decline of 16.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 6.67% share, down 42.86% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 3.33%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
