RediBagUSA serves customers in the grocery, restaurant, medical, and industrial sectors across the US.

With the deal, ACR adds to its range of environmentally focused products and extends its reach across a broader set of end markets.

ACR said the acquisition conforms to its plan to expand through “complementary” deals while adding product lines, strengthening sourcing, and maintaining service across its distribution network.

ACR CEO Scott Milberg said: “This acquisition represents another important milestone in ACR’s growth journey.

“By bringing RediBagUSA into our organisation, we are expanding our product breadth and strengthening our ability to meet evolving customer needs. Their sourcing expertise, brand portfolio, and customer relationships complement our platform well and create meaningful opportunities for continued expansion.”

Founded in 1957 as a US manufacturer, RediBagUSA supplies paper, reusable, recyclable, and compostable food safety bags, as well as gloves, bin liners, and other core products.

RediBagUSA CEO and president Jeff Rabiea will continue to be involved with the business after the transaction, together with other senior members of the management team.

Rabiea said: “We are excited to partner with ACR and become part of a larger, growth-oriented organisation while remaining focused on our customers.

“ACR’s international reach, operational infrastructure, and commitment to reliability will allow us to accelerate our growth while continuing to deliver the quality and service our customers expect.”
