Amcor will present its latest innovations in rigid and flexible packaging at the upcoming Fachpack Expo, a European trade fair for packaging, technology and processes, which will take place in Nuremberg, Germany, from Tuesday 23 September to Thursday 25 September 2025

The display will include Amcor’s new range of reusable cups and lids, lightweight food containers and innovative closures, such as the flip-top closure for sauces.

Amcor’s CleanStream technology, which features domestically recovered, mechanically recycled polypropylene (PP), will also be highlighted. This technology is suitable for contact-sensitive, homecare and industrial applications.

The company’s new reusable cups cater to the growing demand for sustainable alternatives to single-use packaging. These cups are designed to be durable, dishwasher safe and recyclable, aligning with consumer preferences for environmentally friendly options.

Amcor will introduce its Modena Flip Top tamper-evident (TE) closure, designed for vinegar, sauces and dressings. This closure is lightweight and made from a single material, enhancing its recyclability.

Further innovations include the Sava Flip Top and Sunny and Pical Pouring closures, catering to different product requirements and consumer convenience.

Amcor’s containers, which include features such as lightweighting and recycled plastic, offer mono-material pack solutions that simplify the recycling process.

The Politainer, another product set for display, is a polyethylene container that reduces plastic weight and optimises supply chain efficiency due to its flat-packed shipping capability. It is ideal for transporting a range of products while preventing air ingress and ensuring near-complete evacuation.

Amcor’s flexible packaging solutions, suitable for a range of industries, will also be showcased.

These include advanced industrial films with high recycled content, such as the NorDiVent ventilated form-fill-seal film with RecyClass certification, and stretch hood films for pallet protection containing up to 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) material.

For pallet stabilisation, Amcor will present its Bontite and Stratos stretch wrap films. Bontite offers up to 300% stretch and contains 30% PCR, while Stratos provides an ultra-lightweight, sustainable option compared to conventional films.

Amcor’s recycle-ready flexible packaging solutions for the food and beverage industry will be displayed, featuring mono-material films and Omni Xtra+ cling film, a polyethylene alternative to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) that is recycle-ready and offers high clarity and anti-fog performance.

Amcor rigid packaging solutions international food Central Europe sales director Philipp Richter stated: “Sustainability remains a major consideration for companies in all their packaging developments, but at the same time, elements such as functionality, consumer convenience, aesthetics and branding are also essential requirements.”
