The new design aims to streamline the consumer experience by eliminating the need for traditional separate lids.

The inverted, ready-to-dispense format is engineered to reduce messes, drips, and product waste across several categories, including baby soaps, lotions, and professional hair care.
At the core of this innovation is the company’s patented SimpliSqueeze flow control valve, which allows for single-handed, contact-free dispensing.
By opening only under pressure and closing immediately upon release, the system is designed to prevent foreign particle ingress and ensure a clean cutoff.
Aptar Closures president Hedi Tlili said: “By combining our patented SimpliSqueeze valve technology with an inverted, lidless design, we’re helping beauty and personal care brands deliver cleaner, more intuitive and more accessible dispensing solutions.”
The inverted closures are already appearing on shelves within a pet care shampoo line, with further rollouts scheduled for the home and hair care markets.
The technology focuses on convenience, with the lidless format allowing consumers to dispense products easily.
In May 2024, Aptar Closures developed the E-Disc Top closure, a new disc top dispensing solution for e-commerce applications. This followed the launch of Future Disc Top, a closure designed to address the evolving needs of the beauty and personal care industry.
