B2B Industrial Packaging has agreed to buy Empire West Solutions, becoming the US firm’s ninth major acquisition in the past ten years.
Financial details of B2B Industrial’s deal to purchase the packaging equipment and supplies distributor have not been disclosed.

Headquartered in Salinas, California, Empire West Solutions offers packaging equipment to various markets, including manufacturing, distribution, forest products and agriculture.
The company also offers support and services to customers across America’s west coast and extended region.
B2B Industrial Packaging president Bill Drake said: “Empire West Solutions will make an outstanding addition to our expanding portfolio of packaging solution providers.
“They have a strong roster of loyal clients that will enjoy the expanded capabilities, outstanding client service and valuable industry experience this acquisition will deliver.”
The companies will also work together on ensuring a smooth transition for the new affiliate’s employees and clients.
The sales, support and management teams of Empire West Solutions will continue to work with the company from its Salinas base.
All of Empire West Solution’s clients will benefit from three strapping and fastener tool repair services offered by its new parent company’s facility in midwestern America.

In March this year, B2B Industrial agreed to merge its operations with packaging equipment and supplies provider Central Packaging.
Other acquisitions made by the company include Western Metals, Pac Fast and Empire Systems in California, adding to the additions of the Lesker, Anasco, and Rapid-Pac in Illinois, along with Alpine Packaging in Oregon.
B2B Industrial offers a range of packaging equipment and supplies, including steel strapping, stretch film and fasteners to more than 6,000 clients across the US and Mexico.
