Sustainable household cleaning products manufacturer Blueland has enhanced its commitment to sustainability with its new Dish Duo products.

The launch is part of the company’s mission to eliminate single-use plastic packaging from everyday products.

The patent-pending Blueland’s dish soap offerings include a powder format for handwashing dishes and a tablet form for the dishwasher.

The two sustainable formats are non-toxic, fragrance-free and biodegradable.

Users can sprinkle the powder dish soap from a sleek, durable, and refillable 16oz silicone shaker. This product has been found effective during evaluation by independent third-party laboratories.

Additionally, the tablet format features no plastic film wrapping or polyvinyl alcohol (PVA).

It is stored in a refillable tin-coated steel container, which can hold 40 tablets.

Blueland co-founder and CEO Sarah Paiji Yoo said: “From the moment we launched, the number one product our customers have asked us for is dish soap and dishwasher tablets.

“We worked hard to develop a tablet that wasn’t wrapped in a plastic PVA film to ensure we weren’t putting more plastic into our waterways.”

The powder dish soap and dishwasher tablets, which come in a combo pack, are available for a purchase price of $34.

It is also offering refills for the products, which are delivered in compostable packaging.

The company has nearly 30 patents-pending, innovative products, which helps in eliminating more than 100 billion single-use plastic cleaning bottles in the US.
