Bosch Packaging Technology is planning to purchase fill and seal equipment manufacturer Osgood Industries for an undisclosed amount.
Osgood Industries develops, manufactures and distributes fill- and seal equipment for pre-formed containers in liquid food industry.
Its products can be used in the packaging of ice cream, yogurt, dessert, salad and cheese, besides others.
The acquisition covers maintenance, spare parts, customer engineering, rebuilds and retrofits of existing equipment.
With this investment, Bosch Packaging will further strengthen its operations in the liquid food industry in North America and additional markets.

The acquisition of Osgood Industries is the latest in the series of acquisitions made by Bosch which include the purchase of Tecsor Machines et Systèmes in 2013 and Ampack in 2012.
