US-based premium prime label solutions maker Brook and Whittle Holdings has made an investment in shrink sleeve heat transfer labels maker Prime Package and Label.

Financial terms of the transaction remain undisclosed. It marks the first add-on acquisition for Brook and Whittle after it was acquired by Snow Phipps in October last year.

The deal will increase end market, customer and geographic diversification with a focus on strong growth.

It also enables Prime to expand Brook and Whittle’s manufacturing presence to the Midwest and Southeast through facilities in St Louis and Nashville.

Prime co-owner Jim Traube will continue to lead the day-to-day operations of the company along with its general manager Jay Olendorff.
