Global thermal packaging and digital solutions provider Cold Chain Technologies (CCT) has acquired Exeltainer for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition is set to strengthen CCT’s global footprint and expand its portfolio of highly engineered products.

Founded in 2004, Exeltainer designs and manufactures single-use and reusable thermal packaging solutions for the biopharmaceutical markets.

The company is headquartered in Madrid, Spain, and has manufacturing facilities across the country, as well as in Brazil.

It serves blue-chip pharmaceutical customers across Europe and Central America.
