Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Bury has developed a new polyester lidding solution for the Lake District Dairy range of quark-based stir-in cooking sauces.

The new 50mi polyester co-extruded lids cover a range of three high-impact, eight-colour designs.

Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Bury sales manager Ken Dunlop said: "The complexity of producing a job like this is often overlooked as the lid is just one aspect of the packaging.

"Colour consistency is critical and not easy to achieve, especially on an eaight-colour job.

"We are fortunate to have a highly experienced and skilled team that we can call upon when printing a job such as this one."

Clondalkin manufactures pre-cut lids and supplies choice in shrink sleeve production.

Produced by First Milk, the Lake District Dairy cooking sauce line-up will soon be available in the chilled goods dairy cabinets of supermarkets nationwide.

First Milk brand manager Claire Irvine said: "We introduced this new range of stir-in sauces to cater for the increased demand for healthy, convenient home cooking, and it's a natural extension to our award-winning quark range.
