The film, which is manufactured at Clondalkin’s site in Höxter, Germany, offers a natural look for maximum shelf appeal.

According to the company, the invisible film provides a safe and secure seal as it surrounds the product like a second skin and prevents against leakage and contamination.

Clondalkin Wentus new business development director Christian Claes said that the new film is formulated to seal on all widely available films and trays, and is combatible with various types of converting machines.

"At Wentus we invest heavily in research and development and are committed to developing innovative packaging solutions that meet the needs of our customers," Claes added.
