Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI) has announced a public offering of convertible senior notes with a five-year maturity.

Under the terms of the offering, interest will be payable semi-annually starting from 1 January 2017.

ATI supplies American specialty metals and components.

Constellium will issue 1,836,710 Class A ordinary shares, according to a registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The transaction’s selling shareholders include Pierre Vareille, Didier Fontaine, Jeremy Leach, Yves Merel, Simon Laddychuk, Peter Basten, Paul Warton, and Marc Boone.

Under the terms of the transaction, the Dutch company will not receive any proceeds from the issuance.
