Deals this week: Hansol Paper, Graphic Packaging International, Intertape Polymer Group

South Korea-based paper manufacturing company Hansol Paper has issued corporate bonds maturing in June 2020, as part of an indirect public offering to raise KRW100bn ($89m).

South Korea-based paper manufacturing company Hansol Paper has issued corporate bonds maturing in June 2020, as part of an indirect public offering to raise KRW100bn ($89m).

Graphic Packaging International has announced its plans to acquire the assets of Carton Craft, including its affiliate company Lithocraft.

All companies participating in the transaction are based in the US.

Graphic Packaging provides paperboard solutions to beverage and consumer product companies, while Carton Craft produces paperboard-based air filter frames and folding cartons.

"Graphic Packaging International has announced its plans to acquire the assets of Carton Craft."

Packaging manufacturer Intertape Polymer Group has agreed to buy the assets of Canadian Technical Tape, a producer of industrial and specialty tapes, for $63m.

Both companies involved in the transaction are based in Canada.

Intertape Polymer plans to use its revolving credit facility to finance the acquisition.
