Poland-based Packhelp has raised €0.35m ($0.37m) in seed funding from Movens Ventures and Kogito Ventures.

Poland-based Packhelp has raised €0.35m ($0.37m) in seed funding from Movens Ventures and Kogito Ventures.

Packhelp is a packaging manufacturer that helps customers to design boxes using an online web application.

UPM Raflatac has entered a partnership with Cielo e Terra and Amorim Cork to promote sustainability in the wine industry.

As part of the partnership, the companies are participating at the four-day long 'Freschello for Forests' event at Vinitaly 2017, which began on 9 April.

A new Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified Freschello wine bottle will be launched at the Cielo e Terra stand to be installed at the event.

Based in Finland, UPM Raflatac is a self-adhesive label materials producer, while Cielo e Terra is an Italian wine producer and Amorim Cork is a natural cork supplier.

US-based rigid packaging company Silgan has acquired WestRock’s dispensing system business using funds raised through term and revolving loan borrowings.

The purchase consideration for the acquisition was $1.025bn.

The acquirer company aims to extend its market by introducing new capabilities in the highly engineered dispensing system category through the acquisition.

The target company designs highly engineered triggers, pumps, sprayers and dispensing closure solutions.
