Nałęczów Zdrój has integrated its newly installed KHS Blowmax Series IV blow moulding lines with Agr International’s Process Pilot automated process control system.

Nałęczów Zdrój has integrated its newly installed KHS Blowmax Series IV blow moulding lines with Agr International’s Process Pilot automated process control system.

The new system will enable the company to launch a new 1.5l wasp-waist designed PET bottle under the Cisowianka brand.

The automated process control system consists of three components, namely Pilot Profiler, Pilot Vision and the Process Pilot closed-loop control software.

The Pilot Profiler measures the material distribution on every bottle, the Pilot Vision detects visual defects in the bottle, and the Process Pilot controls the material distribution at all points along the bottle sidewall.

Nałęczów Zdrój is a Polish mineral water bottler, while Agr is a US-based quality assurance and process automation equipment provider.

Robot Food has revamped supermarket chain Co-op’s baby care product range.

The company designed an own-label alternative for Co-op to enhance its category sales and engage shoppers.

The label design will have less written content and feature a stripped back progression that simplifies key pack messages.

Based in the UK, Robot Food is a product packaging, food branding and food packaging design firm.

Contract packager Pack Logix has acquired the assets of specialty lubricants blender and packager Spectrum Corporation.

Pack Logix has concurrently acquired the contract packaging and fulfilment business of packaging firm PAX Holdings.

All the entities involved in the transaction are based in the US.

The asset acquisition will expand Spectrum Lubricants’ filling capabilities.

SIG Combibloc Group (SIG) has partnered with Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) to create a new carton company in Japan.

The 50:50 joint venture will be named DNP-SIG Combibloc.

SIG is a Swiss carton packaging and filling machines manufacturer and supplier, while DNP is a Japanese printing company.
