Twin Rivers Paper has agreed to acquire Mondi Group’s paper mill in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, US, for an undisclosed amount.

Twin Rivers Paper has agreed to acquire Mondi Group’s paper mill in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, US, for an undisclosed amount.

The mill manufactures industrial multi-wall bags made with unbleached kraft paper and serves a wide range of food, agricultural and industrial markets.

Twin Rivers produces speciality packaging, label, publishing and technical speciality papers, while Austria-based Mondi Group manufactures sustainable packaging and paper solutions.

The transaction will enable Twin Rivers to expand its product offering and strengthen its position in the market.

Syntel has partnered with Esko to strengthen its existing labelling and packaging solutions portfolio for the medical devices and pharmaceutical industries.

Esko’s products will be integrated into Syntel’s existing suite, as part of the agreement, providing the latter with access to the former’s training and support services.

Syntel is an Indian information technology firm, while Esko is a Belgium-based provider of prepress software and hardware for labelling and packaging.

The strategic collaboration will enable Syntel to provide integrated IT and process support for Esko’s industry-leading products.

RPC Bebo has supplied its Ecopack pot for Laiterie d’Etrez’s crème fraiche dairy product.

Laiterie chose RPC’s solution due to its high-definition offset printing, which has replaced the in-mould labelling of the previous pack.

The 500ml polypropylene (PP) Ecopack also features an easy-to-use design for customers.

Based in the UK, RPC is a plastic products design and engineering firm serving packaging and non-packaging markets, while Laiterie d’Etrez is a French dairy producer.

Arvato and C&A have partnered to develop new cartons for shipping fashion items in the e-commerce business.

Made from unbleached recycled material, the new carton displays C&A brand name on all sides.

Based in Belgium, C&A is a fashion retailer, while Arvato SCM Solutions is a Germany-based innovative services provider in the field of supply chain management and e-commerce.

Grupo Gondi has contracted Voith to supply a new XcelLine paper machine for its new facility in Monterrey in northern Mexico.

The XcelLine paper machine offers a range of special technical features that improve both the quality of the finished paper and reduce energy consumption.

Voith is a Germany-based paper technology company, while Grupo Gondi is a Mexican paper packaging firm.

Installation of the new paper machine will enable Grupo Gondi to supply high-performance, lightweight, recycled containerboard to the Mexican market.

Valmet has been contracted by PT. Megah Buana to supply automation technology for a PM3 board machine installed at its Pasuruan facility in East Java, Indonesia.

The board machine will produce board and liner and is expected to have an annual capacity of 62,780t of board.

Based in Finland, Valmet develops and supplies process technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries, while PT. Megah Buana is an Indonesian plastic products manufacturer.
