DS Smith, a UK-based corrugated packaging provider, has been contracted to provide packaging for Dynaudio’s new line of speakers.

Under the deal, the company claims to have designed a new packaging solution that reflects the quality of the speakers and increases their exposure in shops, without sacrificing protection.

Developed using 3mm and 2mm double-corrugated board, the new packaging features polystyrene or foam for added strength.

DS Smith said that they had used fewer materials while developing the solution, enabling reduced packing, warehouse management and shipping costs for Dynaudio.

Dynaudio technical assistant Linda Zedlitz Refsgaard said: “When the solution was unveiled to us, we were really pleasantly surprised by DS Smith's ability to think outside the box, to inspire and to be innovative.

"We are confident that the new packaging will make Dynaudio products even more visible in shops and that it will help deliver them to our customers free of damage."
