EcoCortec has started operations of a new converting line for zip lock and heat sealing bags at its production facility in Croatia.
The installation aims to increase the plant’s production capacity as the firm plans to grow its business without compromising its service standards.

The commissioned converting line has the capacity to produce films with a width ranging from 80mm to 680mm, and a depth of 80mm to 700mm with thickness between 50 microns and 200 microns.
Installation of the new pallet racking system with up to 188 pallet spaces helped the firm increase its warehousing capacity at the facility.
EcoCortec is currently in the third phase of the facility’s planned construction.

The ongoing development phase includes a new production hall with three extrusion lines, branding of vapor phase corrosion inhibitor (VpCI) paper and storage of Cortec chemical products, the firm said.
