El Mayor Tequila, which is produced by the Gonzalez family in Mexico, has unveiled additional bottle sizes for its Blanco and Reposado offerings.

The new 375ml and 1.75-litre options are designed to accommodate a wider range of consumer preferences.

These new formats will feature the brand’s redesigned packaging, with updates such as a slimmer bottle and a larger label for better shelf appeal.

The 1.75-litre bottles will be available starting this month, with a minimum suggested retail price of $44.99.

Meanwhile, the 375ml bottles are scheduled for release later in the year. Their minimum suggested retail price is set at $14.99.

El Mayor is crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave grown on estate-owned land. Production takes place at Destiladora Gonzalez Lux in Arandas, within Mexico’s Jalisco region.

The Blanco variety is a clear, unaged tequila with a clean and light taste. It includes subtle hints of pepper and floral notes. In contrast, Reposado is aged in white oak barrels for at least nine months.

Reposado has a golden colour and delivers a layered flavour profile, featuring touches of vanilla, spice, and fruit.

El Mayor brand manager Kayleigh Longo said: “We know our consumers are using El Mayor in a variety of ways for numerous occasions, so extending our size offerings helps to better meet their needs and gives them another way to enjoy our authentic, award-winning tequila.”

Last month, El Mayor Tequila unveiled new packaging for its full selection of products.

The company noted that the brand would be made available in a redesigned, slimmer 750ml bottle featuring a new label.
