Pakistan-based food company Engro Foods has relaunched its Olper's flagship milk brand in lightweight packaging designed by Swedish packaging firm Ecolean.
With features including a different shape and large printing surface, the 250ml aseptic package has been designed to differentiate Olper's from other brands.
Engro Foods general marketing manager Waqas Azhar said: "Ecolean offers innovative packaging that stands out both in the store and the home environment, with its combination of unique shape and user experience."
Ecolean says that the lightweight package offers easy tearoff, pouring and handling. It can be used in microwave ovens to heat the milk product.
Ecolean CEO Peter Nilsson said that Engro Foods is a market leader in Pakistan.
"And we're naturally delighted that our innovative products will be widely available in one of the most dynamic markets in the world, yet again proving Ecolean's appeal to the consumer," Nilsson added.
Ecolean develops and manufactures packaging systems for the dairy and liquid food markets, and has operations in more than 30 countries.
