US-based specialised distributor and solution provider Envoy Solutions has expanded its packaging portfolio by acquiring packaging company Hughes Enterprises.
Based in Levittown, Pennsylvania, Hughes Enterprises offers customised packaging solutions and equipment for various industries, including automotive parts, beverage manufacturing, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

The company has locations across the US, Canada, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and the UK.
The addition of Hughes Enterprises is intended to expedite Envoy Solutions’ growth in the packaging sector.

Based in Glenview, Illinois, Envoy Solutions is a distributor and solution provider specialising in foodservice, packaging and marketing execution in the US.
The company said Hughes Enterprises will benefit from its resources and experience to enhance its product portfolio and increase its exposure to wider customers.

The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Last month, Envoy Solutions closed its acquisition of Sigma Supply of North America, an Arkansas-based company that provides packaging solutions across the US.
The acquisition of Sigma Supply was Envoy Solutions’ 12th since last August.
