Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Established in 2008, eutecma manufactures passive cooling equipment for pharmaceutical supply chains and third-party logistics providers.

Its products include ICECATCH cooling systems, PROTECT shipping systems and Thermal Covers.

Tempaid’s products include SpeedyPac mailers, SteadyPac thermal shippers, gel packs and PCM mats for pharmaceutical deliveries.

Tempaid founder Ryan Sanders said: “Our growth meant expanding geographically, driving efficiencies, and building a comprehensive product line covering the whole cold chain, so we found the right partners.

“With eutecma, and the backing of Great Point Partners, we found a partner whose products begin where ours end, both of us listening to customers and solving their problems.”

The companies’ leadership teams include product designers and inventors who jointly hold several thermal packaging patents.

Following the acquisition, the combined business will provide reusable and single-use packaging, covering individual mailers through to bulk pallet shippers.

Customers in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, life science and biotech sectors will continue to have access to the product and service ranges offered by both companies.

Eutecma CEO Kevin Grogan, who took over the position last year, will head the combined company.

Grogan said: “eutecma and Tempaid are uniquely suited to address the demanding needs of the cold chain marketplace.

“We are committed to preserving the passionate, customer-focused culture of both companies while accelerating the investments in innovation and new product development thanks to the support of our strategic partner, Great Point Partners.”

In June 2025, Great Point Partners (GPP) acquired a majority stake in Eutecma.
