Plastic packaging specialist First Quality Packaging Solutions (FQPS) is to set up a manufacturing facility in Macon, Georgia, US, by investing $68m over the next five years.
The proposed facility is expected to create close to 115 jobs.
Construction on the facility will begin later this year, with planned completion by early 2016.
Upon completion, the facility will employ manufacturing advancements and advanced technologies to produce plastic packaging for sale throughout North America.
FQPS will design, develop and manufacture innovative plastic packaging for the food service and healthcare market segments.
Georgia department of economic development commissioner Chris Carr said: "Advanced manufacturing remains one of Georgia’s strongest sectors.

Based in New York, FQPS operates as a subsidiary of First Quality Baby Products, which has a baby diaper manufacturing plant in Macon.
