Fortis Solutions Group, a printing and packaging company backed by private equity firm Main Post Partners, has acquired Infinite Packaging Group for an undisclosed value.

Infinite Packaging Group is a portfolio company of Svoboda Capital Partners that offers label conversion services such as pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves and complementary products and services.

The company currently operates facilities in Lewisville, Texas, US, and Catoosa, Oklahoma, US. It offers various services for the consumer vertical markets, including consumer products, retail, food and beverage, nutraceuticals, and health and beauty.

The deal follows a strategic growth investment in Fortis by Main Post Partners in December.

Fortis president and CEO John O Wynne Jr said: “I have long admired the Infinite organisation and its go-to-market strategies. We are excited to partner with Infinite CEO Lynn Higgs to continue building upon their success.

“This acquisition is a wonderful opportunity to grow our presence in the Texas market and establish a presence in Oklahoma.

“We will be bolstering our strength across product offerings and key vertical markets. We welcome the Infinite employees and customers to the Fortis organisation.”

According to Infinite CEO G Lynn Higgs, the deal will provide access to a national footprint and allows the company to bring added capabilities to its customers.

Higgs added: “The customer-focused approach of Fortis is a great cultural fit with what we have been building over the years.”

In November, Fortis acquired two packaging firms, Premier Georgia Printing and Labels, and Austin Label in the US.

Based in Flowery Branch, Georgia, Premier Georgia Printing offers full-service labels, packaging, folding-carton, offset and flat sheet printing to customers in the food market.

Austin Label offers custom pressure-sensitive labels using flexographic and digital printing technologies deployed in wine, spirits and food domains across the US.
