Based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Fortis operates a network of 17 manufacturing sites, with more than 1,100 employees.

The company converts pressure-sensitive labels, including multi-ply coupons and booklets, flexible packaging printing, shrink sleeves, folding cartons, and label applicators.

Profecta owner Pierre Roberge said: “I am thrilled and look forward to teaming up with John and the Fortis group for this new chapter and continue our growth.”

The acquisition is in line with Fortis’ strategy to strengthen its product offerings and locations to better serve its customer.

Earlier this month, the company announced the acquisition of Label Tech, a provider of labels and flexible packaging.

In October last year, the managed funds and management of private equity firm Harvest Partners acquired Fortis Solutions from Main Post Partners.
