Netherlands-based label producer Geostick Group has placed an order with A B Graphic International (ABG) for five of its flagship Digicon Series 3 finishing machines.

The new machines will enable the Geostick ipv label producer to increase productivity delivering high quality outputs.

They will offer high levels of automation, including connections to CERM, simplifying the set up and changeovers procedures thereby minimising operator error.

Founded in 1924, the Geostick Group specialises in conventional label printing.

The company is also engaged in digital printing, supplying label printers, providing maintenance, software and additional services.

Geostick Group operations director Cees Schouten said: “We are excited about the continued growth of the Geostick Group and our planned expansion into new purpose built digital printing facilities in Uithoorn later this year.

“We chose ABG because of their belief in automation and quality. The new Digicons will allow us to continue to grow whilst creating the high quality products our customers expect. ABG has been our chosen finishing equipment partner for over two decades.”

ABG and Geostick have associated since 1999, when Geostick purchased the company’s first finishing machine.

Geostick now operates more than 40 existing machines from ABG.

ABG global sales director Matt Burton said: “We are thrilled that the Geostick Group sees ABG as their natural partner for finishing equipment; we share similar values and look forward to seeing the result of their new purchases going forward.”

The company’s Digicon Series 3 equipment will enable faster work, and can add a wider range of finishes to labels, packaging and shrink sleeves.
