
Germany-based paper and board manufacturer Zanders is set to launch its new oil and grease-resistant food contact paper, Zanbarrier OGR, from its flexible packaging paper range.
The new uncoated solution will be unveiled at the upcoming FachPack trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany.
The moisture-proof Zanbarrier paper can also be used for fast food packaging, including wrappers for kebabs, chips and butter, as well as pizza and bakery boxes.
Zanbarrier's oil and grease-resistant variant is one of a number of barrier papers developed by Zanders.
The company will also present its high-gloss board grades brand Chromolux at the FachPack 2016 trade fair.
Made from cast-coated board grades, the Chromolux brand can be used to pack various perfumes and cosmetics, confectionery, champagne and spirits, tobacco goods, and other luxury articles.

By GlobalDataFeaturing a smooth surface, the company's Zanpack silk products can be used for confectionery, food and drinks, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, as well as tobacco goods and non-food articles packaging.
Zanpack's uncoated surface offers a naturally rough feel, making the brand attractive for companies that intend to highlight their natural focus or handcrafted production methods.
Zanders currently provides various packaging solutions, which are being manufactured in Germany using sustainably derived pulp approved by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
