Flexible packaging converter Glenroy has agreed to acquire pouch converting operations of PF Flexibles for an undisclosed amount.
An agreement for this was concluded by Glenroy on 16 January, reports Healthcare Packaging.
Formerly known as Pouch Converting Technologies, PF Flexibles produces stand-up pouches that are suitable for liquid packaging.
With this acquisition, Glenroy will procure a wide range of pouch converting equipment and be able to offer in-house premade pouch converting capabilities in the industry.
Commenting on the acquisition, Glenroy president and CEO Richard Buss was quoted by Healthcare Packaging as saying: "With stand-up pouch usage continually increasing, the acquisition of PF Flexibles, combined with Glenroy’s 50 years of experience in flexible packaging, allows us to provide top-quality custom-engineered pouches.
"This supports our mission of providing the highest level of service to our customers."
