US-based vaporisation products and accessories distributor Greenlane Holdings has completed the acquisition of child-resistant packaging solutions maker Pollen Gear for an undisclosed value.
Greenlane has been the exclusive global distributor of Pollen Gear products over the last three years.
As the transaction is complete, Greenlane will now gain operational control of supply chain logistics and quality assurance. It will enable designers and engineers of Pollen Gear to focus on product development and innovation.
The packaging firm will continue to focus on programmes to produce custom packaging solutions for individual customers.
Greenlane CEO and co-founder Aaron LoCascio said: “We are excited to make an already strong partnership with Pollen Gear even stronger and officially welcome them into the Greenlane family.
“With the additional resources we can allocate to Pollen Gear, we intend to bring our customers a higher quality of service and a wider array of packaging solutions.”
Pollen Gear co-founder Ed Kilduff will continue to serve as the packaging firm president.
Kilduff said: “Taking our partnership with Greenlane to the next level gives us access to incredible tools and resources.
“We are eager to continue pioneering solutions in this exciting and evolving new industry, expanding our product assortment and IP portfolio while leveraging our industrial design acumen across other Greenlane product categories.”
