Denmark-based Ikonprint has deployed Nilpeter’s digital UV inkjet product line Panorama in its facility.
The company claimed this move is the result of an increased number of client orders, which meant it had to expand production capacity.
Panorama, a digital solution offered by Nilpeter, is available as a standalone digital press, as well as a combined digital press and converting solution.
Based on inkjet technology, the digital press comes with an intuitive user interface on a 42in colour touch screen.
Panorma is claimed to offer high print quality and is supported by an efficient worldwide service. When first runs were undertaken, quality of the prints were high, as a result of which Ikonprint decided to proceed with the production of two customer orders.
The digital inkjet product was used by Ikonprint to produce labels for Braunstein’s organic Easter beer and 500,000 wristbands for Bakken Amusement Park.

Ikonprint CEO Thomas Nielsen said: "Besides the obvious advantages of having a supplier close to our facilities, the high print quality, high uptime and smart workflow made it an easy decision for us.
