India-based company Cosmo Films has been selected to serve as Hewlett-Packard’s (HP) Indigo Pack Ready film supplier.

The patented Indigo Pack Ready is a set of post print converting solutions, which help maximise the value of Indigo digital print for labels and packaging.

Pack Ready Lamination is the first solution of the range, which is designed to offer zero cure time lamination while creating a bond between HP Indigo digitally printed substrate and pack ready laminate film.

Cosmo noted that its films provide a high lamination bond strength and the process does not involve the use of any solvents.

"Pack Ready Lamination is designed to offer zero cure time lamination."

Cosmo Films’ US operations president Sandeep Dutta said "Our association with HP goes back a long way, starting when we developed the HP Indigo HPI DP label film suitable for digitally printed labels.

"Our strength as the global leader in thermal lamination films, our global distribution reach, and our focus on customised innovation helped us to be brought on board as a supplier for this landmark innovation."
