Iran’s corrugated carton and package printing provider Asan Pack has purchased three label printing presses from MPS.
The purchase includes two MPS EB 370 presses and an EF 430 flexo press, which will allow Asan Pack to enter the label printing market.
The presses include delam / relam units, and will be installed at Asan Pack’s facility in September.
The EF press also features screen and double rewinder units for quick changeovers.
Asan Pack will use two new eight-colour EB presses for printing labels, while the ten-colour EF press will initially be used to print shrink sleeves and wraparound flexible packaging.
MPS CEO Wim van den Bosch said: “After years of economic sanctions, Iran is now the centre of attention for many multinational companies, and Asan Pack is responding to this demand.
