UK-based packaging distributor Kite Packaging has expanded its strapping range with the addition of new products to its portfolio.

The new additions to Kite’s strapping range include sealers for steel strapping in sizes of 13mm, 16mm, and 19mm, designed for use with lapover seals to ensure tight and secure closures.

For heavy-duty requirements, the company has introduced combination tools for polypropylene (PP) and polyester strapping that come in 13mm and 16mm sizes and are compatible with serrated seals.

Further extending its range, Kite has also introduced a pusher tensioner suitable for 13-19mm steel strapping, which is to be used exclusively with lapover seals.

In line with its sustainability efforts, the company now offers paper strapping, dispensers, and kits, thereby providing an eco-friendly option for bundling lightweight packages with a maximum break strength of 80kg.

In addition, the business added a new pallet probe to its collection, offering a straightforward solution for feeding strapping under pallets, avoiding tangles and loss in the process.

For safety and convenience, Kite also added a cutter for steel and PP strapping, featuring a polyvinyl chloride handle for improved grip.

The new strapping products can be purchased at various price points, with discounts offered on wholesale quantities.

Kite managing director Gavin Ashe said: “The enhancements made, including the UX refresh, are not just about updating our product offerings but also about redefining the entire customer experience.

“We believe in providing solutions that not only serve immediate functional purposes but also elevate the overall satisfaction and efficiency of our customers.”

The expansion of this strapping range comes after the company enhanced its website navigation and accessibility.

The improvement is intended to offer a better shopping experience to customers.
