Norway-based Orkla Home & Personal Care (OHPC) has introduced Klar laundry products in Nordic markets through retailer Normal, using D-PAK cartons supplied by Elopak.
In Denmark, the launch is significant for Elopak because it represents the first time a D-PAK carton has been placed on the market in the country.

It is also the first availability of Klar-branded products there.
The rollout began in March 2026 and covers six redesigned Klar items developed for the discount chain. Distribution spans stores in Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden.
Klar was first sold in 2017 in Norway as refill products in D-PAK cartons.
OHPC has since moved to a newer D-PAK carton line made with a combination of circular (recycled) polyethylene and bio circular (renewable) polymers.
According to the information provided, this carton line has become the standard format for OHPC products packed in D-PAK cartons, including OMO, Comfort, Grumme and Lumme.
The Klar range introduced through Normal consists of three laundry detergents and three fabric softeners, available only through the retailer’s stores across the Nordic region.
Orkla Home and Personal Care junior brand manager Ida Marie Grimsrud said: “The 360° carton surface gives us the unrivalled packaging communication space to help this rebranding of our famous Nordic Klar brand make a splash in both well‑established and new markets.”
Last year, Elopak expanded capacity at its carton converting plant in Little Rock, Arkansas, US, by adding a third production line.
The additional line is budgeted at $30m and is being introduced in response to customer demand.
