Label manufacturer LOC España has brought in a second BOBST MASTER M5 inline flexo press as it expands output at its plant in Spain.
The move follows more than ten years of working with BOBST and comes as the company reviews further equipment additions including a third BOBST machine and its first digital press.

LOC España was established in 1985 within an industrial group connected to the paper industry.
It later developed into a producer of self-adhesive labels and remains under family leadership.
The manufacturer now runs three shifts and supplies customers mainly in Spain in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetics industries.
LOC España first started using BOBST equipment more than a decade ago through the brand’s distributor in Spain. Its first machine was a BOBST MASTER M4.
LOC CEO Zoilo López said: “Orders are typically high-volume, and a single error can result in significant product losses. They know they can come to us with any challenge: multilayer labels, variable numbering in booklet-style labels, reserved areas and special adhesives, or complex die-cutting solutions. This wide range of offerings forms the basis of our value proposition.”
LOC España is also directing investment towards food labelling, including labels for high-speed dual-head application equipment.
This month, LOC worked with BOBST and Avery Dennison to host an open house at its production site for label industry professionals.
The company said a fully digital press is due to be installed before the end of the year.
BOBST labels division head Jordi Giralt said: “LOC España is exactly the kind of partner that inspires us.
“Seeing them grow from one BOBST machine to two – and soon three – is a great source of pride for our team.
“We look forward to continuing to support their ambitions and helping them stay at the forefront of an increasingly demanding market.”
