M&As this week: Westcare, FP Corporation, Henkel Consumer Goods

Percival Print & Packaging has been acquired by Westcare, a printing, box-making and packaging operations provider.

Percival Print & Packaging has been acquired by Westcare, a printing, box-making and packaging operations provider.

Under the terms of the acquisition, Percival Print & Packaging will continue to operate independently for a certain time and retain its directors.

Both companies involved in the acquisition are based in Australia.

FP Corporation will acquire Japan-based Ueda Packaging Corporation in a transaction that is expected to be completed by 1 July.

FP Corporation is primarily engaged in the production and supply of polystyrene and compound resin food containers.

Henkel Consumer Goods has agreed to acquire The Sun Products Corporation, a laundry and homecare company, from Vestar Capital Partners, in a move to boost its business in the US market.

The $3.6bn acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals.
