Thermal barrier ceramic coating provider Zircotec has acquired a 100% stake in Performance 1 Coatings (P1C).

Thermal barrier ceramic coating provider Zircotec has acquired a 100% stake in Performance 1 Coatings (P1C).

P1C specialises in high-temperature ceramic exhaust coatings for car and motorcycle exhaust systems and performance parts.

Both companies involved in the transaction are based in the UK.

H.B. Fuller has signed an agreement to acquire Royal Adhesives & Sealants from the affiliates of private equity firm American Securities for $1.57bn. The acquirer company intends to fund the transaction through new debt financing.

All companies involved in the transaction are based in the US.

H.B. Fuller is engaged in manufacturing industrial adhesives, while Royal Adhesives & Sealants is into manufacturing and marketing of adhesives, sealants, encapsulants, and polymer coatings.

"BillerudKorsnäs Venture, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BillerudKorsnäs, has acquired a minority stake in Vericool."

The company has engaged Morgan Stanley & Co as the sole financial advisor and Faegre Baker Daniels as the legal advisor for the transaction.

BillerudKorsnäs Venture, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BillerudKorsnäs, has acquired a minority stake in Vericool, a company based in California.

The subsidiary’s main focus is to invest in new potential companies that can develop into a new business and introduce new solutions to the packaging value chain.

BillerudKorsnäs expects to develop advanced sustainable packaging solutions along with alternatives to polystyrene by joining with Vericool.

BillerudKorsnäs is a pulp and paper manufacturer based in Sweden, while Vericool is engaged in manufacturing sustainable and compostable packaging for unbroken cold chains for the grocery and pharmaceutical markets.
