M&As this week: Huntington Foam, Steel Partners, Tower Growth Management

Huntington Foam (doing business as Huntington Solutions) has acquired industrial packaging solutions provider Trimtec Systems.

Huntington Foam (doing business as Huntington Solutions) has acquired industrial packaging solutions provider Trimtec Systems.

The acquisition will enable Huntington to expand product offerings to its existing customer base while expanding its geographic reach in the Midwest market.

Based in the US, Huntington is a custom-engineered expanded polystyrene (EPS) and expanded polypropylene (EPP) moulded foam solutions provider.

“The acquisition will enable Steel Partners to strengthen its position in the substrates, laminates and technical films market.”

Steel Partners has acquired the assets of Dunmore Corporation, along with the share purchase of Dunmore Europe in Germany, for an undisclosed amount.

Dunmore will operate as an independent business and report to Steel Partners, following the completion of the acquisition.

Both based in the US, Steel Partners is a diversified holding company engaged in multiple businesses, while Dunmore is a manufacturer of specialty coated films.

The acquisition will enable Steel Partners to strengthen its position in the substrates, laminates and technical films market.

Private equity firm Tower Growth Management (TGM) has completed the acquisition of thermoformed packaging solutions provider Visual Packaging (Plastics).

Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in the UK.
